Riding Arena We are currently accepting donations to build a full size outdoor show arena. The completion cost of this project is $6,225.00. This cost includes the arena, judge’s stand, bleachers, and concession stand. With the completion of the project, we will be able to offer children a place to learn to ride, teach them how to show, and provide a more secure environment to exercise and train the horses. It is our goal to let every child be able to participate and go home a winner. Anyone wishing to make a donation of $25.00 or more can have their name, company’s name, or the name of a loved one placed on a plaque at the arena upon completion of the project. Materials will be purchased locally from Pineview Lumber of Unity, Maine and building and ground work will be done by volunteers and LCR staff. We are in hopes to break ground for this project as soon as the ground thaws in the spring of 2007. These pictures are an example of what our arena will look like.
